A Note from Garnet...

Dear Friend,
     As your State Representative, I will do everything I can to strengthen educational opportunities for all Michigan residents. I will work to protect good-paying jobs in the 98th district while working tirelessly to bring jobs to our state. I will also work to ensure that all Michigan residents have access to affordable, quality health care. I am a strong, experienced leader and I will stand up for you and our community. I have devoted years of my life to strengthening educational opportunities for Michigan students, and will continue to work hard to improve the lives of all Michigan residents as State Representative for the 98th House District.

On the Campaign trail...

Well, buckle up and hang on because it has been BUSY ever since deciding to run. I officially filed to run for the State Representative position in Lansing on Thursday, July 19. It took several tries to locate the actual office where filing occurs. As an FYI, because the 98th district covers two counties, candidates must file in Lansing with the State Bureau of Elections.
